What:

You can order quality food (no seconds or expired items) that costs $50-$70 at food stores, for only $30. Each basic unit of food contains enough food to feed a family of four

(2 adults and 2 school-aged children) for approximately one week or a single person for a month. There is no limit to the number of basic units of food you can buy.

This food is for everyone who wants to save money on their grocery bill. There are no applications or income restrictions.

When:
   Food is distributed once a month at New Life Lutheran Church from 9 AM to 11 AM.
OCTOBER's Distribution Day is Saturday, October 25.
NOVEMBER's Distribution Day is Saturday, November 22.
DECEMBER's Distribution Day is Saturday, December 20.

DETAILS for NOVEMBER: Food orders will be taken at New Life Lutheran Church from 10 AM to 2 PM the Friday (November 7) and Saturday (November 8) before each month's food order deadline. Mail-in orders must be placed in the mail no later than Monday, November 3. *See below for mail-in and drop off information. Food distribution is on Saturday, November 22.

How:    1) Print order form; fill out the selections and contact information.
                         Any questions, call 219-776-9721 and speak with Cynthia.

2) Pay by cash, check, money order, or food stamps.

3) OPTION 1: Bring the form and payment to the church during the hours listed

above. New Life Lutheran Church is located at 1400 E Joliet in Crown

Point where Route 231 intersects with 113th (or South Street). The

church is a few doors down from Crown Point's new BMV. Orders are

picked up at the same location.
OPTION 2: Payment by check or money order

                         can also be mailed with the order form to Cynthia Haney 721 Saratoga
                         Street, Crown Point, IN 46307. Do not mail cash. MUST be postmarked by
                         November 3.

You will need to bring something to carry your items home. We suggest a laundry basket, a box about that size, or a cooler. Thank you!
